Dr. BK Nayak, former editor of the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology initiated a series of workshops on Research Methodology, during his tenure as Editor of this journal. The workshops are conducted twice a year. The current editor Dr. S. Natarajan continues this trend. Dr. Nayak now continues this through the Maharashtra Ophthalmic Society too, and with the Dean of the Medical College, Dr Mrunal Patil, also an office bearer of the MOS, planned this one day event. Literature Search & Reference Management Workshop at Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, Feb 14, 2013

Bharati Vidyapeeth University Medical College Pune invited us to conduct a one day preconference workshop on Literature Searching & Referencing. This was a day before a Conference - "Healthcare & Research: Building Bridges" - organized by their Research Society. Forty faculty members attended the workshop. For us it was a matter of pride that the Director Health Science, Dr VN Karandikar attended the workshop and shared words of praise and lots of encouragement.
