Dr. BK Nayak, former editor of the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology initiated a series of workshops on Research Methodology, during his tenure as Editor of this journal. The workshops are conducted twice a year. The current editor Dr. S. Natarajan continues this trend. Dr. Nayak now continues this through the Maharashtra Ophthalmic Society too, and with the Dean of the Medical College, Dr Mrunal Patil, also an office bearer of the MOS, planned this one day event.
