Back from vacation & one month later

Hello friends In case you got sick of reading my "Away on vacation" and wondered if I had extended it, the answer to that is "No". I did return on the 1st of June but was jet lagged and a bit unwell for a couple of weeks. We then got deeply involved in an exhibition planning (Lakshmi has written about that) and a whole lot of other things! The Nursing Dept of the PD Hinduja National Hospital Mumbai organized a one day workshop on Wound Care Management for about 150 Nurses. The Director Nursing,  Ms. Phalakshi Manjrekar  invited Vasumathi Sriganesh to deliver a lecture on finding information related to wound care management. She felt that this would be a valuable addition to what the Nurses learned from seniors. We fine tuned our regular lecture with examples on wound care management. Giving Back-NGO India 2013 exhibition

QMed participated in the Giving back - NGO India 2013 exhibition (14-15 June) a CSR initiative of UBM India  at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai. This was the second such exhibition by UBM India and 160+ NGOs from across the country participated in it. Apart from the stalls there were also conferences and seminars on interesting topics about running NGOs in an effective manner. This exhibition acted as a platform for us to propose the idea of conducting awareness lectures for the “non-medical people” who  use the internet to search for medical information.
