Mar 31, 2025: QMed completes utilization of its first Grant

March has been a busy month with two workshops and three lectures. We finished the last two workshops with the first ever grant money we received from Pfizer in 2023. These two were at the Tata Memorial Hospital and the Seth GSMC & KEM Hospital. A slightly disappointing part was that at both venues, while about 35 registered, we had far less that actually attended. Aug 30, 2024: Program Update: “You have more faith in my abilities than I do”

The workshops at the KJ Somaiya Medical College and at the TNMC were both conducted with the grant money from Pfizer that we could not utilize earlier. Both events had great participation from students and faculty of the respective institutions. The Whatsapp group of the TNMC was full of messages after the workshop thanking the organizer Dr Renuka Munshi as well as Vasumathi Sriganesh for the workshop. In our July 9 communication of Donor Connect, mentioned about the THIRST For AIIMS project being on the “take off mode”. July turned out to be great for us as we did sessions in AIIMS Raipur (July 14), AIIMS Guwahati (July 20) and AIIMS Kalyani (July 22). We had varied experiences with each institution as we planned the events. AIIMS Raipur gave us only 1.5 hours of time. AIIMS Guwahati gave three hours and Kalyani gave two three hour slots.
