Bharati Vidyapeeth University Medical College Pune invited us to conduct a one day preconference workshop on Literature Searching & Referencing. This was a day before a Conference - "Healthcare & Research: Building Bridges" - organized by their Research Society. Forty faculty members attended the workshop. For us it was a matter of pride that the Director Health Science, Dr VN Karandikar attended the workshop and shared words of praise and lots of encouragement. Lakshmi and I attended a workshop on NGO management, on the 6th of February. Organized by Help Your NGO, the speaker was Noshir Dadrawala of the Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy. He covered several important topics like Governance, Funding and more. It is always a pleasure to attend his sessions and there is always something new to learn!
