Dear friends
I am really happy to introduce our brand new Online Courses site - www.qmedcourses.in ! We worked really hard in the months of April, May and part of June, to get this all ready for you. I would like to thank every one of my team. Ms Fatima Shaikh - our technology star is a special star because she is a librarian by training, but has learnt so much about technology through her various jobs. A self driven individual, she has succeeded in figuring out all the tech details regarding Moodle and got our site up. Ms Dipti Suvarna who over years with us has learnt a lot about Library & Information Sciences - worked on checking out all the ppts, videos, quizzes, assessments and more to ensure that things were fine. She has become so good at PubMed and Mendeley, that she could point out changes needed in quite a few presentations.
I had the job of recording all videos in this period. Hard work, but I enjoyed every minute!
We launched the site mid June and are happy that we have quite a few pepole who have registered and some of them have finished more than one course. Having done a couple of webinars this month also helped - people who viewed them, registered and invited others to do so.
Our aim is to see that these courses reach every nook and corner of India and we would appreciate if each one of you enrolls and helps us spread the word. Do join us to create a generation of literature searching and reference management savvy students, facutly and practitioners!
