Hello again! I write this from Toronto, where I have been on a work-cum-vacation for the last 1.5 months. A holiday with my son and his family (which includes two nearly six year old grandkids) has been a great change. Week ends have been full of hiking and picnics, and the weekdays have been filled with work.
I am often asked "what do you do when you are not doing workshops?". And smilingly I think - this is just like home makers being asked "How do you spend your time?" The amount of work that goes into just keeping QMed alive is phenomenal. I feel that every member of our small team is doing the work of at least three people. In this break - it has been submitting of our audit reports to the Charity Commissioner, handling some challenging banking processes and more.
I have also been working with my team on assisting some authors with their systematic review search strategies. "Working from home" is something that was possible for the QMed team, well before it became an accepted method during the pandemic. I will be back in Mumbai in the second week of July and look forward to starting workshops soon!

Testimonials for QMedCourses
Course: Advanced PubMed Searching for Authoring Systematic Reviews
I understood how to find all possible text words. One of the most valuable aspects of the course for me was learning how to choose TIAB terms to add to my search queries. This has always been a confusing area for me. The video on proximity searching was particularly useful and impressive. I learnt how to document the strategy to use in the Review.

I had an immediate resolution of the problem and the support team went an extra mile to update the instructions page on the website. Vibhor Agrawal, UG Students, King George’s Medical University
